While many people prefer to have conventional books made of paper as they believe there is nothing like having a book in hand, be able to turn the sheet, smell the odor, etc., it is also true that everything has evolved and we have to adapt to changes. The disadvantage of conventional books is that they take up to much space; if you have a huge amount of books you need to have a large space at home where you can put your bookshelves for storage, as well as that with the pass of time the sheets change their color and your books get damaged with use.
If you like reading as much as I do, what we use today are e-Books. There is a lot you can find online, you can find in all categories and genres of your choice your favorite authors and you can even find a book you read long time ago and for one reason or another you don’t have it any more and you can’t find it at conventional bookstores.
It is very difficult to read e-Books on your desktop or laptop with LCD screens because after a period of time of reading your eyes get tired and you feel discomfort in your eyes. Another disadvantage is that there is no way to know what page you stayed on so you have to write the page down or remember it especially because computers were not made specifically for reading electronic books.
Today we have the Kindle, a device that was created specifically for reading e-Books. They come in various models with different features and capabilities but the newest Kindle DX is the most complete. It has the E-ink technology which is the closest thing to reading a conventional book, a screen of 9.7 " in which you can read PDF files, magazines and newspapers, including books rich in graphics and it is as thin as a magazine. Another advantage is that, unlike LCD screens, in the Kindle you can read in full sunlight without glare, it also has long battery life and a large storage capacity up to 3,500 books with which you can literally take your virtual library with you wherever you go, all this and more.
